Veteran Advocacy

As chair of the Women Veterans Business Coalition (WVBC), I serve as a leader tasked with providing a critical advocacy voice on behalf of women veterans who run businesses. My unique perspective on business issues and resources available to women who have served this country should be included in policy decisions and this coalition will enable us to speak with one voice.

Wealth Building and African-American Economic Growth

I launched Civility Management Solutions in 2012 as a veteran, African-American woman. As CEO of a successful business in the wealthiest African-American county in the United States, I am a member and serve on the board of many organizations that seek to mentor those seeking to build wealth and advise on the economic growth African-American community across the entire country.

Domestic Violence and Women Empowerment

As an author, I seek to share my experience as a survivor of economic and mental domestic violence. My book titled “As My Leaders Go… So Do I” follows my journey as I sought to find my identity as a woman and how I navigated exiting an abusive relationship with my former husband. I founded R3, the non-profit arm of Civility Management Solutions (CivilityMS), to be of service to women, veterans, and other disadvantaged communities.

R3 hosts the Mind Merging Summit as a resource for women who seek mentorship and guidance on Survival, Self-reflection, Success and Sustainability (4S).
